Are you sure that you have not disabled the SATA ports? Check the connections if that is the case. It found some thumb drives Why are these plugged in at this time?
It stays blank and asus a7n8x sata hard drive light is a constant ON.
Have you tested the HDD with a diagnostic utility? The GB drive was listed there.

I am not sure I have never done it. I no longer receive that prompt during POST. Based on my knowledge of this, you will need to install the SATA drivers from the motherboard setup CD and reboot prior to the drives being seen. Asus a7n8x sata does the same thing even if it’s asus a7n8x sata only sata drive in the system. Posted 24 September – Back to Desktops forum 2 total posts.

Strange thing is, it gets the model number, but hangs at capacity. What do you see happening on-screen? Please elaborate on the circumstance in which a7n8c “drive is still not seen”. I tried both asus a7n8x sata with same results.

Copy the 8 files ONLY not the 2 folders to a formatted floppy disk. It boots fine but now I get blue screen often saying that windows is shutting down to avoid harm to my components. I asus a7n8x sata the PC the drive is not recognised.
